Okay, so I started my senior year today. I figure I have it pretty easy, since I have five classes, and I only need two. Most of my classes are small, and have a few pretty cool guys (tehy fuck with teechers and don't afraid of anything). I thought maybe, just maybe, I'll avoid some degree of stupidity.

I was wrong.

In my Current Events class, our teacher asked us to bring up some things happening recently (hurr). I mentioned the Russia vs. Georgia thing. Everyone seems to keep up with the conversation, until finally someone has to open their stupid mouth.

"Why would Russia invade one state?"

I look at her. "Are you serious." I didn't ask a question, because that'd imply that I had doubts. No, I knew we were tumbling down the rabbit hole of dumbfuckery.

The teacher quickly picks up the ball, assuming she meant "state" as in, you know, "nation". So he explained to her about why Russia would want another notch in their belt. By the end of it, I'm even starting to hope that I just misinterpreted her.

Yet, she goes, "But why would they only invade one state if we're a whole country?"

The teacher stares blankly. "Georgia is not a state in this case. It is a nation."

"REALLY?!"

Then I fantasize about killing her. Possibly with her own organs.
